Golf: Putting - Imagine a Wicket
Beginning golfers often have trouble aiming their putts. Part of the problem is that they're aiming at what appears to be a two-dimensional spot on a flat surface.
Here's a tip that will help your students take better aim when putting. Tell them to visualize a croquet wicket in front of the hole, and to direct the ball through the wicket.
This bit of visualization will give them a three-dimensional target that is easier to aim at. The result should be more success on the putting green.
