Badminton: Garbage Can Drop Game
Here's a great way to spice up regular badminton games while developing your students' accuracy on return shots.
Place a garbage can (or cardboard box) in all four corners of each player's court (the back corners are optional if you don't have enough cans).
Then have your students play a regular game of singles or doubles. Any shot that lands in a can is worth three points, regardless of which player served (and was normally eligible to score). A shot that hits, but does not go into,
can scores two points.
