Promotion - School Colors Day

Dick Moss

A School Colors Day is a great way to improve school spirit and support for your team.

On the day of a home game, encourage your students and staff to wear clothing that highlight your school colors. Athletes on varsity teams can wear their team uniforms (minus the pads, of course).

School Colors Day is a great day on which to hold an assembly or pep rally - having everyone in the gym wearing the same colors will provide a sense of school spirit and cohesion.

Cap off the day with your game. Provide free admission to any student wearing team colors. Having your bleachers full of fans all wearing team colors will be fun for the spectators and it will be a great symbol of support your team. It will also be an intimidating sight when your opponents enter the gym.
