
Nutrition: Citrus Water - A Healthier Hydration Alternative
Water is great for post-workout hydration, but some students find it boring. Here's a way to make water more appealing by improving its flavour… using nothing but fruit.
Citrus water is also a healthier, lower calorie alternative to soda pop.
What You Need
- 16 cups water
- 2 large lemons, sliced
- 1 large orange sliced
What You Do
- In a large pitcher, add water and fruit and chill for 1-2 hours.
- After two hours, strain out fruit, pour water into a large glass, and serve.
