Fun Stuff for PE Newsletter #60

What's been added to PE Update.com over the past two weeks? Some cool content!. There's a fun relay race in which you must move your team while enclosed within a hula hoop; some tips for conducting your baseball practice when you find your field unavailable; a super exercise that develops leg stability when jumping; a way to make your tennis service toss more consistent; and a way to make running or walking laps more fun.

The above articles are for PE Update members only. But this newsletter also contains lots of free content! There's a video showing some fun long-snapping tricks by football center Bryan Pittman; a link to this week's blog, in which I discuss the difference between indoor and outdoor coaches; and our free article from the archives describing a basketball variation that puts the emphasis on passing to teammates before taking a shot.

This newsletter is free, but most of the content on PE Update.com is for members-only, including instructional videos, the discussion group, over 2100 articles that you can read, print and email... and much more.

If you're not already a member of the PE Update.com website, then join up today!! You can get more information here: PE Update Membership Information

I hope you enjoy this issue!

2. From the Web

LONG SNAP TRICKS
If you were watching the New York Giants against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, you witnessed a long-snapper miss the mark, resulting in a safety and a pulled hamstring for his punter. Oops! Long-snappers usually only get attention when they do something wrong, but Houston Texans center Bryan Pittman brings a certain glamor to his role with his unique trick-snap abilities. In this video, you can see him snap groceries into a shopping cart, a ball into a moving vehicle and a basketball into a basket from half court. I really liked his ability to put a spiral on a roll of bagels. You'll have to sit through a short commercial, but it's not long. Click here to see the video:
