Fun Stuff for PE Newsletter #57
September 18, 2008

Dick Moss, Editor, Physical Education Update.com

1. Editor's Note

We're changing the name of this newsletter! We're now called "FUN STUFF FOR PE!" I think it better reflects the content we provide.

Also, our frequency will now be bi-weekly. We went bi-weekly over the summer and the feedback was excellent. The fact is, PE teachers get so busy that it's hard to keep up with new information (that's one of the reasons PE Update.com is useful). So, rather than overwhelm you, we'll try publishing both the newsletter and the blog only once every two weeks, instead of weekly. Let us know what you think.

This newsletter is free, but most of the content on PE Update.com is for members-only, including instructional videos, the discussion group, over 2000 articles that you can read, print and email... and much more.

If you're not already a member of the PE Update.com website, then join up today!! You can get more information here - Hey, you can try us out for only $7.95 a month! PE Update Membership Information

I hope you enjoy this issue!

Dick Moss, Editor

2. From the Web

MICHAEL JORDAN IN HIS OWN WORDS - FREE AUDIO BOOK
Listening to an audio book is a great way to pass the time on your drive to work. Audio Books for Free is a website that provides audio books you can download to your computer at no cost - although there is a fee if you want a recording with better sound quality.

Here's an example you might find interesting - a biography on Michael Jordan...in his own words. Click the link below to go to the site. Then click "Download Now", then the "8 Kbps" option if you want the free download option. You'll have to register first if you want the free audio books (there's no charge to register):
