Gymnastics: Add-On Gymnastics Contest

Gymnastics: Add-On Gymnastics Contest

Dick Moss, Editor, PE Update.com

Add-on is a fun gymnastics game that will test your students' ability to perform old and new moves—and to remember sequences of moves.

How to Play
Divide your class into groups of two or three. The first partner in each group selects a gymnastics move and performs it. The second partner must perform that move, then immediately perform another move of their choice. The third partner  (or the first, if there are only two partners) performs the first two moves, and adds yet another.

The contest continues until one of the players misses a move or forgets the sequence.

Caution
Be sure the moves performed are safe and within your students' ability to perform, and that any move requiring a spotter is indeed spotted correctly.
