Travel: A Coffee Straw Keeps Your Eyes on the Road
Who among us, when driving a van-full of kids to an out-of-town competition, hasn't resorted to a giant cup of coffee to help us keep our eyes open?
Unfortunately, sipping that coffee poses some driving risk, because we must tilt our head to sip the steaming java. Also, finding the little hole in the cup-cover can distract our attention from the road.
Here's a simple solution. Drink your coffee through a straw. Coffee is seldom sold with a straw, so many of us don't think of using one, but a straw works as well with coffee as it does with a soft drink. And it allows you to keep your eyes on the road and your steering straight and true.
