Nutrition: Travel Snack Pack

Many athletes travel to competitions and assume they'll be able to purchase appropriate foods at the event.

However, the snack bar menu at such competitions is usually greasy and expensive, consisting of hot dogs, hamburgers and chips.

A smart option is for athletes to put together their own travel snack-pack, filled with high-carbohydrate foods they enjoy and can easily digest.

On the pdf version of this article (members only...sorry), is a copy-ready shopping list you can give to your athletes to help them assemble their own travel nutrition pack.
