Wrestling: Bacon Wrestling Drill

Dick Moss, Editor, PE Update.com

The Bacon Drill will give your students a few laughs while practicing “scramble wrestling.” It's a great change of pace drill.

The Drill
Pair your wrestlers up and have them lie on their backs, side by side but facing in opposite directions.

Tell them they are slices of bacon, and when you turn on the imaginary heat, they should sizzle, convulse and tremble like frying bacon. Then, on your whistle, they must stop cooking and wrestle.
