Ideas: African Safari Activity

Sometimes all it takes to break up a boring routine is to act goofy!

Here's an idea that's so wacky it's inspired.  Have your elementary school students take two toilet paper rolls and glue them together.  Attach a string between the two rolls at the back. Voila, binoculars!

Now give your students permission to observe your class instruction  through their binoculars. You can also have them bring their binoculars along for an outdoor education hike  or walk through your neighborhood.

Be sure to bring a camera!
