Fun Stuff for Physical Education #87
December 17, 2009
Dick Moss, Editor, PE Update.com

1. Editor's Note

Welcome to the final issue of the Fun Stuff for PE newsletter for 2009! Like many of you, I'll be taking a bit of a break over the Christmas vacation period, so you won't see new articles posted during the week of December 28 - January 3rd (actually, I'm doing a training camp in Florida with my university runners - yahoo - no snow shoveling!).

Our next Fun Stuff newsletter will be published on January 15th and our next blog on January 12th. But as always, you'll have access to the PE Update.com website 24/7 throughout the holidays. I appreciate that you've been with us during 2009 and look forward to an even better year in 2010. Have a happy holiday everyone!

What free content will you find in THIS issue of Fun Stuff?

  • "From the Web" features a funny video involving babies and rollerblading.
  • "PE Update Blog" discusses a real-life example of the benefits of lifetime fitness.
  • "From the Archives" provides an article that describes a fun cooperative relay race.
There are also many free resources on the PE Update.com website, including more than 40 sample articles, a links page, the latest PE-related news and headlines, the PE Blog and the Fun Stuff newsletter archive.

For those of you who are PE Update.com members, this issue includes a list of the latest articles added to the website. I hope you enjoy this issue and I'll see you in 2010!
